Hey Jim,
Thanks for the update and for being so transparent. The truth is that many of us share your bent for "the plan" and we get so engrossed in the destination that we fail to enjoy the journey. Our focus sometimes takes us out into the deep and then we can become consumed with the all important question, "do I have what it takes to get to the destination". Until we are confident of the answer to that question, we can be robbed of the joy of the journey. One answer is found in 2 Peter 1:3, "His Divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness". He has what it takes, the power of the resurrection, and we will have it too if we "remain" in Him. (John 15) Thanks for reminding me to "stop and smell the roses". Geoffrey Harris
